The St Vincent’s Pre-SET society provides semi-structured SET interview practice for applicants

Interested trainees who are intending to apply for SET in 2024 will have the opportunity to register to be part of this program. Participants will meet weekly in the evening with a supervising registrar, fellow or consultant providing regular practice and feedback. 

Formal interview practice evenings will also be held closer to the interview dates with surgeons and fellows, who will make up interview panels thereby recreating the real interview environment. We also encourage surgical residents to participate in these practice evenings to provide feedback and familiarise themselves with the interview process for future years.
